Souderton, PA (November 8, 2022) – Around 11:45 a.m. on the morning of Monday, November 7, a man was killed in a fatal car accident at an intersection in Souderton.
According to Franconia Township Police, the accident happened at the intersection of West Cherry Lane and Souderton Hatfield Pike. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help. One of the involved parties, identified as 28-year-old Justin Minnucci, was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with severe injuries. He was tragically pronounced dead while there around 1:30 p.m. It is not known if anyone else sustained injuries in the accident.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked at the intersection. Police worked to quickly clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
