Pittsburgh, PA - Several Hospitalized in Vehicle Crash on Pkwy E at Second Ave

Pittsburgh, PA (March 7, 2025) – Multiple people were injured in a crash involving a dump truck and two other vehicles on Parkway East on Thursday, March 6.

A dump truck was heading east toward Second Avenue near the Bates Street Exit on Thursday afternoon when it collided with a sedan, state police said. Troopers said the sedan was knocked over the concrete median and landed in the oncoming traffic inbound lanes, where it hit a car.

The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to a hospital with injuries. That said, there was no word on the injured victims' conditions or the cause of the crash. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, and officers asked for witnesses to get in touch with additional information.
