Marion Township, PA (February 12, 2024) – At least one person was seriously injured Sunday in a vehicle crash in rural Centre County, state police at Rockview wrote in a crash report.
A 17-year-old girl from Bellefonte was injured in the wreck, which happened around 5:20 p.m. Sunday on State Route 26 near North Gettig Lane in Marion Township. She was driving a Honda sedan when she was involved in a crash with an unknown vehicle, per authorities.
Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter, and Bellefonte EMS transported her to UPMC Williamsport for treatment of serious injuries, police wrote. At least one other person was assessed at the scene, though no further details have been released over the course of the continuing inquiry.
