Manor Twp, PA – Alexis Garcia-Burgos Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Columbia Ave

Manor Township, PA (August 13, 2024) – A man is dead after a crash in Manor Township on Sunday morning, August 11.

The Lancaster County Coroner identified the victim as Alexis Garcia-Burgos, 33, of Lancaster. According to a news release, the coroner responded to the crash around 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Centerville Road. On scene, the coroner found Garcia-Burgos lying in the road. He was found to have traumatic injuries and pronounced dead at 8:15 a.m.

An autopsy will be scheduled, the coroner said. It’s unclear if the driver involved stayed at the scene, and the events leading up to the fatal incident are unknown in the meantime, but the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
