Manheim Twp, PA - Deadly Auto Accident on Rte 61 SB

Manheim Township, PA (April 19, 2025) – According to PennDOT officials, the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office had been dispatched to a crash along Route 61 just south of Pottsville on Saturday, April 19.

According to Schuylkill County Communications, crews were called to the 1500 block of Route 61 southbound for a reported multi-vehicle crash. Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan stated that his office was still on-scene awaiting a Pennsylvania State Police reconstruction unit.

It is also unknown how many people were injured at this time. Troopers with the Philadelphia State Police are investigating in the interim, but have asked any witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
