Greencastle, PA - Several Hurt in Truck Accident on I-81 at PA 16

Greencastle, PA (February 9, 2024) – Interstate 81 was closed as a crash with up to three commercial vehicles involved was reportedly being tended to by first responders near Marion.

The interstate was completely closed in both directions between Exit 10 to Marion/Swamp Fox Road and Exit 5, Greencastle/PA-16. Fire rescue squads and other first responders were directing traffic off the interstate and onto the East-West Roads.

Other reports indicate that at least one of the vehicles, a semi-truck, may have jackknifed on one side of the highway, with two others crashing as a result on the other side.
