Madison Township, PA (August 31, 2025) – A woman is dead after an early morning ATV crash in Armstrong County.
Pennsylvania State Police says the Kittanning barracks responded to the crash on private property in the 900 block of Deanville Road in Madison Township around 2:30 a.m. Troopers say two people were riding the ATV at the time of the crash.
Our deepest condolences go out to the deceased woman's family members at this time.
Though ATV accidents are not incredibly common on our roads, they tend to lead to some of the most catastrophic harm when they do occur. This is due to the fact that those on ATVs have little protection from harm in the event of an accident, especially those involving much larger vehicles. In one year’s time, an average of 135,000 individuals are hurt in ATV accidents throughout the U.S.
Out of these accidents, approximately 700 people lose their lives. Pennsylvania is no stranger to these accidents, where handfuls of lives are taken in ATV accidents each year. If you have lost someone you love in an ATV accident, it is important that you seek necessary legal help.
The aftermath of an ATV accident can be an incredibly overwhelming thing to face, especially if you have been seriously injured or even lost someone you love in a collision. Families are often left to pick up the pieces after a fatal collision.
