Lancaster Co, PA - Three Hospitalized After Vehicle Crash on Cocalico Creek Rd

Lancaster County, PA (September 24, 2024) – Crews say that a multi-vehicle crash left multiple people injured in Lancaster County on Monday night, September 23, and authorities continue to investigate the cause of the incident.

Per responding officials and emergency dispatch, a two-vehicle crash with entrapment occurred at the intersection of Cocalico Creek Road and South Seventh Street in West Earl Township at around 7:40 p.m. EMTs were shown at the scene via local news footage to transport the injured to area hospitals and confirmed that three people were hurt and taken to an area medical center for the treatment of injuries.

The intersection was closed for an extended period of time but reopened around 9:00 p.m. In the meantime, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. Troopers with the Philadelphia State Police are investigating in the interim but have asked any witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
