Greene Twp, PA - Victim Hospitalized in Dump Truck Crash on Main St at Rte 997

Greene Township, PA (June 13, 2024) – A passenger car caught on fire after crashing with a dump truck in Franklin County on Thursday morning, June 13, according to county control.

The crash happened on the 4500 block of Main Street near Black Gap Road/Route 997 in Greene Township, and officials say that emergency crews responded to the scene at around 5:45 a.m. Per the Franklin County Control, one person was injured in the crash, and authorities added that the person was extricated from one of the vehicles involved in the crash before the fire spread. Additionally, one person was transported to the hospital, but the total number of individuals hurt and the victims' conditions are unclear. An investigation is being conducted in the interim.
