East McKeesport, PA (July 26, 2025) – A man is dead and another is in the hospital after a two-car crash in East McKeesport, Allegheny County, on Friday evening, July 25.
County police said the collision happened just before 6:50 p.m. near the intersection of 5th and Penn Avenues. Both drivers were taken to hospitals, and one was pronounced dead, police said.
No information on the other driver's condition was immediately available. There were no passengers in the vehicles, police said. Preliminary information shows the vehicles were traveling towards each other on 5th Avenue when the collision occurred, police confirmed in a statement.
County homicide detectives are investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 833-ALL-TIPS. In the meantime, the investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues. Police will update with more information as it is available.
