Volant, PA - Motorcyclist Airlifted After Accident on Main St

Volant, PA (July 7, 2025) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash on Friday in Lawrence County, and authorities say the incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Main Street (State Route 208) in the Volant area.

Pennsylvania State Police said the driver of a motorcycle was headed east on SR 208 while the driver of a car was headed west when the two collided for unknown reasons. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and had to be flown to the hospital, according to a report.

The other driver was not hurt. However, no further details were provided publicly, and an inquiry is still ongoing.
