Three-Vehicle Crash Closes Rte 30 Near Idlewild in Ligonier Twp., PA

Ligonier Township, PA (June 26, 2026) – A Friday evening crash, on June 26, left two people hospitalized. The  crash involved three vehicles and closed the eastbound lanes of Route 30 near Idlewild Hill Lane.

The wreck happened near the Idlewild and SoakZone area in Westmoreland County, according to aerial footage and dispatch reports. Ligonier Township Police and emergency units responded to the scene as eastbound traffic on Route 30 was shut down.

The extent of the injuries to the two people taken to the hospital was not confirmed. Traffic was able to get by in at least one direction while crews worked the scene.

The crash remains under active investigation.
