Lebanon County, PA (December 2, 2024) – Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police said that a multi-vehicle crash injured six people and damaged two homes in Lebanon County on Sunday, December 1.

According to the Lebanon Professional Firefighters on Facebook, crews responded to the 400 block of Walnut Street on Sunday night for an accident involving a vehicle colliding with a structure. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that three vehicles and two homes were damaged in the incident.

Lebanon City Police said in a news release that one vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed by a 16-year-old crashed into the other vehicle that did not stop at the intersection at Walnut Street with State Route 422 eastbound around 9:39 p.m. This caused one of the vehicles to hit a parked vehicle and two porches shortly thereafter.

The department said six EMS units were utilized before the incident was brought under control. All six victims were either treated at the scene or transported to local hospitals. Their conditions are unknown at this time. Meanwhile, an investigation remains ongoing, but Lebanon County officials are asking anyone who may have seen the collision to contact officers.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Pennsylvania

Sustaining serious injuries or coping with the death of a loved one as a result of an automobile accident is undoubtedly stressful. As a consequence of collisions, there are several cases in which individuals engaged are left with shattered bones, damage to the brain, and even serious spinal cord injuries at the end of their lives. When you suffer any kind of injury, it can have a long-term impact on your health and well-being. Regrettably, a great number of innocent individuals are injured as a consequence of accidents that are brought about by drivers who are negligent and reckless.

If you’ve suffered injuries due to another driver's actions, you can file a personal injury lawsuit against them. To recover full and timely financial compensation for your losses, you will need to have the strongest case possible to prove liability.

Some common ways to prove liability and a car accident in Pennsylvania include:

  • Investigate the scene of the crash and gather strong evidence from there. This can include still photographs or videos taken at the accident scene, statements from witnesses, or the official police report.
  • Perform a thorough investigation of the insurance policies held by both parties involved in the collision to determine the policy limits that are applicable to your case.
  • Complete a comprehensive investigation of the cause of the crash. This may require interviewing witnesses, checking traffic camera film, or employing an accident reconstruction specialist.
  • Obtain your medical records to serve as evidence of the injuries you incurred in the accident.
