Lebanon Co, PA - I-81 Site of Fatal Four-Vehicle Accident at MM 82.5

Lebanon County, PA (October 24, 2024) – Officials said that a fatal multi-vehicle crash on I-81 in Lebanon County on Thursday had the roadway shut down for the afternoon.

Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police said that one person was killed, and three others were taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. There were four vehicles involved in the crash. A spokesperson for PennDOT added that the closure was southbound around mile marker 82.5 at Exit 85 (Route 934/Annville/Ft Indiantown Gap) just after 12:15 p.m., though the road reopened around 6:15 p.m.
