Lancaster Co, PA - Preston Mowery Identified in Fatal Truck Crash on Lincoln Hwy

Lancaster County, PA (June 19, 2024) – A 21-year-old man is dead after a crash involving a cement truck on the Lincoln Highway on Monday, June 17.

According to the Lancaster Coroner's Office, Preston Mowery of Gordonville was pronounced dead at around 9:15 a.m. following a collision with a commercial truck. His cause of death was found to be multiple traumatic injuries. Crews were dispatched just before 7:00 a.m. to the crash at 5571 Lincoln Highway in Salisbury Township. However, it's still unclear what ultimately caused the crash, and authorities did not provide updates on the injured victims' current conditions. The road was shut down for hours on Monday while first responders were on the scene, but an investigation is still being conducted in the interim.
