Grove City, PA – Two Injured in Car Accident on Slippery Rock Rd

Grove City, PA (July 18, 2022) – Two people were injured in a serious car accident that occurred in Grove City on Monday morning, July 18.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to the scene around 2 a.m. on Slippery Rock Road. Police confirmed that 28-year-old Matthew Bell was headed north in his vehicle with a passenger, identified as 22-year-old Trenton Snow. For reasons that are not yet known, he lost control of his vehicle, which left the side of the road. The vehicle then collided with a mailbox and a tree, which caused it to sustain severe damages.

Various responders in Grove City were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. They confirmed that both men were ejected from the vehicle. They were both rushed to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of their serious injuries.

Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
