Dauphin County, PA (November 9, 2024) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash had part of the highway shut down at the 22/322 interchange with Interstate 81 in Dauphin County on Friday evening, November 8.
A spokesperson for PennDOT said the crash that prompted the closure of Route 22 westbound at the ramp for I-81 northbound happened around 6:00 p.m. At least one person is dead after the crash, PennDOT confirmed. No further details were released, however, and an inquiry into the wreck is ongoing.
