A motor vehicle accident can be incredibly life-changing. While the damage to your vehicle may be an inconvenience, living with serious injuries can impact every aspect of your life. Trying to overcome emotional trauma while dealing with physical pain and suffering can be incredibly challenging. Not only can the aftermath of an accident have a devastating impact on a victim, but their family as well.
Unfortunately, many crashes that take place here in Pennsylvania are completely preventable. We see innocent people forced to deal with pain and suffering as a result of drivers who simply do not operate their vehicles in a safe manner. After being hurt in a car crash, you have the ability to file a claim to recover compensation.
In Pennsylvania, the legal framework mandates "no-fault" insurance. This terminology refers to the allocation of benefits from the injured party's insurance policy in the event of a car crash in the state. The essence of "no-fault" insurance coverage lies in the assurance that, irrespective of the party responsible for the accident, specific benefits such as medical and wage loss coverage will be provided by the injured party's insurance policy.
If the damages that you have suffered in your accident exceed the limit of your insurance policy, you have the ability to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. It is crucial to seek guidance from a car accident lawyer right away.
