Hanover Township, PA (June 1, 2026) – A section of Route 22 reopened on Monday morning, June 1, after state police temporarily diverted traffic to conduct a follow-up investigation into a serious crash that occurred over the weekend. Westbound drivers were redirected for about 30 minutes beginning around 10:30 a.m. while investigators worked at the scene.

The investigation is related to a four-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night, May 30, in the westbound lanes of the highway. Several people were taken to area hospitals following the collision.
