Summit Township, PA (September 4, 2025) – A Meadville man is dead after Pennsylvania State Police said a collision took place on State Route 18 in Crawford County.
According to PSP Meadville, calls went out for that crash involving a sedan and a pickup truck at the intersection of State Route 18 and Agnew Road in Summit Township around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday. The sedan was hit on the passenger side, and the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Meadville Medical Center with unknown injuries, but they were suspected to be minor. No charges have been filed at this time. The accident remains under police investigation. In the interim, the police advised motorists to avoid the area and asked any witnesses to come forward.
