Philadelphia, PA (August 25, 2025) – At least one person has been injured after a partial building collapse in North Philadelphia on Monday, August 25.
According to officers with the Philadelphia Police Department, the incident happened just before 10:00 a.m. in the 2100 block of North 9th Street. Paramedics and various other responders were dispatched to the scene, and at least one person was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The area was blocked off for some period of time after the accident. It is not known if the accident was work- or construction-related, as no further details have been released at this time. However, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
