Our thoughts are with those injured in this incident as they begin their recovery.
Multi-vehicle collisions in urban areas like Harrisburg often occur at busy intersections where traffic moves in several directions. Intersections such as Forster Street and Green Street are especially prone to crashes due to high congestion, rapidly changing traffic signals, and limited visibility—especially during early morning hours. When several vehicles are involved in a crash, both the likelihood and severity of injuries tend to increase.
In accidents involving multiple vehicles, victims can suffer a wide range of injuries. Common injuries include neck and back trauma, concussions, broken bones, and internal injuries. Some of these injuries require emergency surgery or long-term medical care, including physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Victims may also experience significant time away from work, leading to lost income and additional financial stress. The emotional toll, combined with mounting medical expenses, can be overwhelming for those involved.
When a crash is caused by another driver’s negligence—such as speeding, distracted driving, or failure to obey traffic signals—injured individuals may be entitled to compensation. A knowledgeable car accident lawyer can play a key role by collecting evidence, reviewing police reports, speaking with witnesses, and handling negotiations with insurance providers. Compensation may include medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and long-term care costs.
