Butler, PA - One Airlifted After Car Accident on Rte 422 at Greenwood Dr

Butler, PA (June 14, 2025) – One person was taken to a hospital by a medical helicopter after a multi-vehicle crash that occurred just before 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, on Route 422, between Greenwood Drive and Lesney Lane.

According to Butler County dispatchers, the crash was called in around 3:45 p.m. As of 4:45 p.m., Route 422 was still closed to traffic. A second person was taken to the hospital by ground transport. Authorities did not provide any additional information about the accident or those involved. Witnesses were asked to contact local officers if they had details or insight related to the accident.
