York, PA – Three-Vehicle Crash Leads to Injuries on I-83LawPaWriter
York, PA (November 17, 2020) – Around 6:47 a.m. on Friday morning, a three-vehicle crash caused injuries on a highway in York.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the crash took place when a speeding driver lost control of their vehicle, striking a second and third vehicle. The vehicles spun on I-83 until they blocked all lanes. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The drivers of the first two vehicles, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. Their conditions are not currently known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked at different times. This jammed traffic on the Interstate for several hours.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
