York, PA – Motorcycle Crash Involving Police Cruiser at Beaver St & Market St

York, PA (May 31, 2022) – Around 3 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, May 31, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash at an intersection in York.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Beaver Street and Market Street. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area of the intersection when they were struck by a police vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. The two vehicles forcefully collided with each other.

Paramedics and local fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries. The officers involved in the accident did not sustain injuries.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time following the accident.
