Motorcycle accidents are a very traumatic experience for everyone involved. The unfortunate aspect of these accidents is that motorcyclists almost always suffer extreme injuries that could result in fatalities. Motorcyclists don’t wear enough gear to protect their bodies from collisions. In this case, officials state that Sheaffer died from multiple blunt force trauma, which is devastating for him and his loved ones, especially if the accident could have been avoided.
Distracted driving is the number one cause of motorcycle accidents. Although the law requires all drivers to pay attention to the road at all times, drivers still text, fall asleep at the wheel, drive under the influence, eat, and converse with other passengers. All of these actions are a form of negligent driving, and the consequences of such actions always negatively affect everyone involved.
