Wrightsville, PA – One Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Rte 30

Wrightsville, PA (June 3, 2023) – At 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, June 3, one person was killed in a fatal car accident in Wrightsville.

According to Wrightsville officials, the accident happened on Route 30 around the area of the Wrightsville exit, Cool Springs Road. Several vehicles were allegedly traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision with one another, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. It was reported that one person, identified only as an adult male inside the rolled vehicle, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. One or more other parties sustained injuries in the accident as well.

Eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked for several hours as police worked to clear the scene. This led to extensive delays in the area.
