Coaldale Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Accident at Route 209 Catawissa Road
Schuylkill Township, Pennsylvania (September 26, 2017) – One man suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Chester County on Sunday evening, according to troopers.
The accident occurred at about at about 5:02 p.m. September 24, at the intersection of Route 209 and Catawissa Road in Schuylkill Township.
According to the troopers, a 16-year-old female from Mahanoy City was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse eastbound on Catawissa Road while at the same time, William W. McNavage, 60, of Coaldale driving a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina on Route 209.
The teenager reportedly ran a stop sign and collided the Lumina at the intersection.
McNavage suffered minor injuries while the teenager and her passengers, two males, 16 and 17, and a female 15, all from Mahanoy were uninjured.
Both cars had to be towed.
The teen was cited for a traffic violation.
An investigation into the crash was still ongoing.
