Wilkes-Barre, PA (January 12, 2021) – On Monday, January 11, a fatal truck accident took place on a roadway in Wilkes-Barre.
The accident took place at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, on Lauren Run Road when a cement truck and a pickup truck collided. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
The roadway was closed in the area for an extended period of time.
