White Oak, PA – Man Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Jacks Run Rd

White Oak, PA (April 23, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, April 22, a man was killed in a fatal car accident that took place on a roadway in White Oak.

According to Allegheny County Police, the accident happened around 12:40 p.m. at 3100 Jacks Run Road. Police confirmed that three vehicles were traveling in the area when, due to reasons that are not yet known, the vehicles forcefully collided with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. An adult male involved in the accident, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. One other person was rushed to the hospital with injuries but is expected to recover.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police were able to fully clear the scene by 5 p.m.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
