Washington, PA (November 16, 2020) – Around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, November 15, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in Washington.
According to Allegheny County officials, the accident took place when two vehicles collided with each other on I-79 due to reasons that are not officially known. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The accident backed up traffic in the area for an hour or more as police worked to clear the scene.
