Washington, PA (June 19, 2021) – On Saturday evening, June 19, six people were transported to an area medical center after a two-car crash occurred in South Strabane Township.

According to Washington County 911 dispatchers, the wreck occurred near the intersection of Racetrack Road and Route 19, located near the Meadows Gaming horse racetrack. Police say that at least two cars collided, though the events leading up to the crash are still unclear and the extent of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time.

All six victims were transported to area medical centers by ambulances, and the scene was cleared by 7:30 p.m. Police are still investigating and have not released further details.
