Washington, PA – John Isenberg III Killed in Pedestrian Accident on I-70LawPaWriter
Washington, PA (January 11, 2021) – Around 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning, January 11, a man was killed in a pedestrian accident on a Washington highway.
Washington County officials confirmed that the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-70. Police stated that 33-year-old John Marvin Isenberg III was working on his disabled vehicle on the side of the highway when he was struck by a tractor-trailer driving through the area.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Isenberg was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The roadway was closed for approximately three hours but police had the scene cleared by 10:30 a.m.
The Pennsylvania State Police continue their investigation into the collision.
