Fatal Car Accidents in Pennsylvania
Dealing with the aftermath of a fatal accident can be incredibly challenging. Unfortunately, more than 1100 people die as a result of automobile collisions reported in Pennsylvania annually. Quite often, these crashes are preventable. We see countless people lose their lives as a result of drivers who are reckless.
One of the most common factors in fatal collisions across our state is distractions. When drivers do not pay attention to the road ahead of them while operating their vehicles, they may not see other vehicles slowing down or coming to a stop for whatever reason. As a result, these vehicles are likely to crash into each other and cause severe harm.
Another common cause of fatal collisions that we see here in Pennsylvania is failing to yield. When drivers fail to yield to other vehicles nearby, it can have deadly consequences on our roadways. We also see many accidents take place as a result of impaired drivers, drivers who run red lights, and drivers who are tailgating or following too closely to others.
