W Salem Twp, PA – Semi-Truck Accident Injures Three on Rte 58
West Salem Township, PA (October 13, 2022) – Three people were injured in a semi-truck accident that took place on a major roadway in West Salem Township on Thursday morning, October 13.
According to Mercer County officials, the accident happened in the early morning hours on Route 58. Police confirmed that a sedan and a semi-truck were traveling in the area around Porter Road and Tanner Road when they suddenly collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. Both vehicles went off the side of the road following the crash, which led to severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the passenger vehicle, the driver of the semi-truck, and a passenger in the truck were all rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
