W Pottsgrove Twp, PA – Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Berks StPa Accident News
West Pottsgrove Township, PA (July 3, 2023) – A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident that took place on Sunday afternoon, July 2.
According to West Pottsgrove officials, the accident happened in the afternoon hours on Berks Street near the area of Little Vine Street. Police confirmed that a woman was walking in the area when she was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. At the time, the woman was allegedly trying to get something out of her vehicle’s trunk. Individuals who live in the area claim that a lot of drivers speed in this specific area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The woman, who has not yet been formally identified, was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Her condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time following the crash. Police did not say if the driver responsible for the accident will be facing charges.
