W Manchester Twp, PA – Fatal Bus Accident on W College Ave
West Manchester Township, PA (April 21, 2023) – On Friday morning, April 21, a fatal bus crash took place in West Manchester Township.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 10 a.m. on West College Avenue, close to the area of Woodberry Street and Lemon Street. Police confirmed that a rabbittransit bus was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with at least one vehicle. The bus sustained severe damages in the accident.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. At least one person, who has not yet been identified, was killed in the accident. It is not known if anyone else was hurt in the accident.
Both directions of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time after the accident. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
