Verona, PA – One Seriously Injured in Car Crash at Hulton Rd & Milltown Rd

Verona, PA (August 24, 2022) – One person sustained serious injuries as a result of a car accident that took place at an intersection in Verona on Monday evening, August 22.

According to local officials, the accident happened around 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Hulton Road and Milltown Road around the area of Milltown Community Park. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One individual was seriously injured as a result of the accident. The patient was rushed to the hospital by a medical helicopter for treatment. Their condition is not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked for some time. The roadway was blocked until after 7 p.m.
