Upland, PA – Four-Vehicle Crash Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-95

Upland, PA (May 19, 2023) – Around 9:30 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 17, a four-vehicle crash with injuries took place on a highway in Upland.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Kerlin Street and Edgemont Avenue. Police confirmed that four vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged due to the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple people were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

Some northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. The roadway was reopened around 11 p.m.
