When you have been involved in an accident with another vehicle, like the two-vehicle accident in Greene Township, you may wonder what rights you have. People are injured in accidents with another vehicle every year in the U.S., leading to broken bones, fractures, brain injuries, spine and neck injuries, and so much more. However, for you to bring a claim, you should always be prepared to show that a driver acted negligently in some way. This can be done through showing what actions they were engaging in during the event of the accident such as distracted driving, drunk driving, or speeding.
There are many pieces of evidence that you can use to compensate for your claim. For instance, you may be able to show a police report in the accident where the police pushed fault onto the other driver for speeding well over the speed limit. You may be able to show a variety of damages through medical treatment that you have received. No matter what, if a driver has acted negligently and you have proof that you have suffered damages, you may have a case.
