Tuscarora Township, PA (December 22, 2023) – Route 6 was closed Monday morning, just west of Laceyville, after a chain-reaction collision involving four drivers. After the crash, all of the drivers were reportedly sent to the hospital for treatment.
All four drivers were sent to a hospital after the collision, according to a state police officer who investigated the site; however, an official report is still pending. Three pickup trucks and a UPS truck were involved in the collision, according to Brian Yurgatis, the fire chief of Laceyville. All victims involved were ultimately transported to Robert Packer Hospital, though their current conditions are unknown. Police closed Route 6 near Cornell Road for their on-scene investigation, but no additional details were provided to the public. The inquiry into the cause of the accident remains ongoing in the meantime.
