Bicyclist Injured in Accident in Lower Frankford Township
Lower Frankford Twp, Pennsylvania (September 25, 2017) – Timothy P. Wagner, 65, of Carlisle was injured after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Lower Frankford Township while riding his bicycle, on Saturday evening.
According to the police, Wagner was riding eastbound on State Route 944 at about 5:15 p.m. when a pickup truck struck him at the intersection with Wildwood Road.
Wagner was hurt in the crash and was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment.
The condition of the pickup truck driver, identified as David S. Wise, 70, of Carlisle, was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
