Thorndale, PA – Jamie Sauer Killed in Fatal Crash on Lincoln HwyLawPaWriter
Thorndale, PA (January 4, 2021) – Around 11:53 a.m. on Sunday, January 3, a woman was killed in a fatal crash that took place in Thorndale.
At the time of the accident, officials confirmed that a Buick Encore was traveling eastbound at 2600 Lincoln Highway when it collided with a GMC Terrain for reasons that are not yet known. The Buick Encore entered the westbound travel lane and was struck by a Jeep Cherokee.
The driver of the Buick, identified as 28-year-old Jamie Sauer, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The other drivers involved in the accident, identified as 71-year-old Janet Giddens and 65-year-old Stephen Mento, did not sustain life-threatening injuries following the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for several hours as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
