Charles Fisher Killed in Trash Collector Accident in Perry County

Posted on February 23, 2018 On Thursday morning, Charles Fisher, 39, was killed in a car accident when a Chrysler 300 sideswiped his garbage collector truck on the driver’s side. At the time of the accident, he was working on the driver’s side step of the garbage truck. He passed away from the driver’s side front tire. Though the accident is under investigation, the driver of the other vehicle will probably hold liability. Our thoughts are with the family of Charles Fisher at this time. Tractor Trailer Crash Closed Portion of Pennsylvania Highway

Posted on February 7, 2018 Early this morning, a tractor trailer crash in Pennsylvania closed a portion of Interstate 70 westbound in Washington County. In the morning, snow still continued to fall to the ground and subsequent freezing rain did not help matters, mixing together to create an icy combination. With the tractor trailer crash closing down halfway, delays were imminent. Luckily, no other parties were hurt, though a variety of other crashes took place throughout the county this morning, from PennDOT truck crashes, to those involving other vehicle drivers.
