Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyers: Canadian Study Shows Increased Risk of Auto Accident During Pregnancy

A new study reveals that pregnant women are at a higher risk of getting into a serious car accident. Researchers in Ontario determined that about one in 50 pregnant women will be involved in a serious crash during their pregnancy, often during the second trimester. Although the connection between pregnancy and car accidents was not entirely clear, researchers speculate that the physical symptoms experienced in the second trimester may affect women’s ability to drive safely.
