Vernon Township, PA – Truck Rolls Over on Interstate 79

Truck Rolls Over in Crawford County Vernon Township, PA (July 9, 2018) On Monday morning, a garbage truck rolled over on the Interstate 79 in Crawford County. The truck headed northbound when unknown causes resulted into a rollover. The police arrived to investigate and clear up the scene. The ambulance transported the driver to UPMC Hamot for injuries; however, the severity of the driver’s injuries is unknown. More investigation will determine the cause of the accident and who was liable. Multiple Accidents Due to Pennsylvania’s Adverse Road Conditions

Posted on February 16, 2018 Yesterday morning, at least 4 traffic accidents occurred within a few miles of one another on Interstate 79 in Butler County. These accidents happened for a variety of reasons, mainly due to the adverse road conditions. One vehicle was spotted in the wooded area off the side of the road, followed by multiple other vehicles that slid off the roads due to snow on the roads. Reports said that many of the exit ramps were completely covered in snow and PennDOT was forced to temporarily lower the speed limit to 45 MPH in Butler County. […]
