The accident involved three vehicles and five people. Apparently, a police officer traveled westbound on Route 422 in response to an aggravated assault, when he hit a vehicle with two people inside. Their names were James Cooling and Michele Cooling. The impact from the first collision pushed the Cooling’s vehicle into a third vehicle that belonged to Paul McCoy and Mary Lynn McCoy.
