Strongstown, PA – Randall Mack Killed in Workplace Accident on US-422Law Pa
Strongstown, PA (October 3, 2020) – On Friday, October 2, a man was killed in a workplace accident that took place at a business in Strongstown.
The accident, according to the Indiana County Coroner’s Office, took place when a 39-year-old man was working at the Texas Auto Ranch on US-422. A worker operating a loader did not see the worker, identified as Randall Mack, and backed up into him with the loader.
The worker kept going because he thought he had only driven over a tire, causing serious trauma to the pedestrian. He received blunt force trauma as a result of the accident and died at the scene.
Numerous responders were present at the scene including the Pine Township Fire Department, Ambulance Services, Pennsylvania State Police, and more.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
