Spring Garden Twp, PA – Worker Killed in Fatal Accident at J&K Salvage Yard
Spring Garden Township, PA (July 27, 2022) – Around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, July 27, a worker was killed in a fatal accident in Spring Garden Township.
According to officials, the accident happened at J&K Salvage yard. Police confirmed that a man was working on a forklift when it collapsed on him due to reasons that are not yet known. The worker became trapped under the forklift. It is not known how long he was trapped before he was found by workers.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 59-year-old male worker had to be extricated from under the forklift. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
The area was blocked off for an extended period of time following the accident.
