Spring City, PA (February 26, 2021) – Serious injuries resulted from a three-vehicle crash in Spring City on Thursday night, February 25. The accident took place at an intersection around 6:30 p.m.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of PA-724 and Stony Run Road. A pickup truck, SUV, and Mini Cooper collided. The vehicles were left with a variety of damages, including severe front-end damage to the red SUV.
Numerous victims were trapped inside the Mini and the SUV and had to be extricated by fire crews. Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital. One was so severely injured that they had to be flown by a medical helicopter.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
